In this course you’ll learn how Takahashi-san caught multiple fish in front of his class of 20 students on a highly pressured river. The 40-minute on stream video lesson sees Takahashi-san demonstrate his fusion of Tenkara and western nymphing techniques - but also has a double bonus of commentary and interactive questions from Italian Youth Gold-medal winning (ex) competition angler Uberto Calligarich.
Tenkara Nymphing with Shin Takahashi
Join Takahashi-san as he hosts an on stream masterclass in front of a group of 20 students. If that weren't pressure enough, he's joined in the river by an announcer with a megaphone and our "inside man" Italian competition angler Uberto Caligarich who provides translations, commentary and insights throughout.
Just a few notes to make sure we're all on the same page here.
